October offers many fun events for the whole family to celebrate the autumn season in and around Mountain House. The kids will have a blast at Dell’Osso Family Farm’s Pumpkin Maze, at the Halloween Parade in Bethany, and at the Fall Carnivals hosted by Wicklund, and Questa School Foundations. If you think the kids will have all the fun this month, then you should visit Stockton’s Stocktoberfest and Pleasanton’s Brew Crawl. The ladies won’t want to miss Tracy’s Witches & Broomsticks Girls Night Out! If you enjoy art, antiques, and crafts, then you’ll definitely want to go to ArtWalk Livermore, the Pleasanton Fall Antiques & Collectibles Street Faire, the Lodi Street Faire, and the Danville Fall Crafts Festival. For quality entertainment, you’ll want to get tickets to see Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical at the Bankhead Theater. The ever-popular Mountain House Restaurant Night continues on October 13th and 22nd. October 2 Main Street Friday Night Jazz

October 2-4 Alameda County Fall Home & Garden Show

October 3 MHFCR 4th Annual Silent Auction & Raffle Fundraiser

October 3 Stocktoberfest 2015
With Keg lifting competitions, craft beers on tap, sausages, home brews, chicken dance dance-offs and, of course, beer stein holding competitions, Stocktoberfest 2015 is not to be missed! Modeled after a German Octoberfest with a Stockton twist, Stocktoberfest seating is outdoors on the waterfront with long tables, wooden benches and BIG glass steins. Hours are 2 pm to 9 pm. October 3 Mountain House Whiskers, Wings & Wagging Tails Pet Fair
Bring your 4 legged Friend to the Library from 10 am to 2 pm and participate in our Pet Fair. We will be holding a cutest pup contest so send in a photo of your or your children reading to their pet. We will post the photos at the Library and ballots will be available on the day of the event. There will be vendors, food, music and some fun activities for the kids and dogs. October 23 Witches and Broomsticks: A Girls Night Out! 2015
This bewitching evening for the ladies is presented by the City of Tracy and will be from 6 pm to 10 pm at the Tracy Downtown Plaza. Your $25 ticket includes a goodie bag, wine tasting, and food sampling. Shop the girls only boutiques and dance the night away! There will be prizes for the best decorated witches hat! October 24-25 2015 Danville Fall Crafts Festival
This family-friendly festival will be held on tree-lined Hartz Ave. in Danville from 10 am to 5 pm, both days. October 25 Questa School 5th Annual Fall Carnival
This event is held at Questa School in the evening from 5-8 pm, and will have a lot of fun activities for all ages. Enjoy class booths, games, prizes, and the 8th Grade haunted house. All night there will be henna, music, bounce houses, raffle prizes, food, drinks, and the annual Trunk-or-Treat. Come dressed up for the chance to win “Best Costume”.
