Kid-Friendly Earth Day Activities!

Did you know that plastic has been found in more than 60% of all seabirds and in 100% of different sea turtle species? According to this article last year from, 8 million metric tons of plastic goes into our oceans every year, causing the creatures who call these waters home to mistake our trash for food. 😨

If you don’t have it marked on your calendar, make sure to put a big star next to Saturday, April 21st, a.k.a Earth Day: the annual reminder to recycle, conserve energy, preserve our trees, and to keep our planet looking and feeling its best. 😀

Since we love the outdoors at Mountain House and enjoy everything our beautiful earth has to offer, we found some fun activities you can do to help educate your little earthlings about keeping our water, trees, and air out of harm's way. 🌳
