People from all over the Bay Area, Silicon Valley, and beyond are drawn to Mountain House not only because they’ve found the home of their dreams, but also that unmistakable feeling they’ve found something special. It may start out as that je ne sais quoi they can’t quite put their finger on, but we see it time and again. When people cross the Mountain House threshold, they immediately feel welcomed, embraced, and valued. It makes them want to stay a while, and most people do!
Our established community is a place of belonging for everyone from all cultures, creeds, and walks of life, where everyone looks out for one another, neighbors truly become friends, and parents know the families of their children’s friends. Mountain House is that one-of-a-kind, once-in-a-lifetime community that families move to and stay forever!
Clubs and Groups
At Mountain House, we believe that our community is made stronger and richer from our diversity. Many cultures, life stages, and interests are represented and supported here, and you’ll see we have lots of clubs, associations, and groups that do just that! And you don’t have to belong to a certain culture in order to participate in a particular group; everyone is invited and welcome, from the Filipino-American Society and Asian American Association to the LGBT Group and Mothers’ Club. Learn more about our community’s groups and how we enjoy connecting with each other HERE.
One of the best ways to experience Mountain House and feel all the love is by attending one of the many community events held throughout the year. Our events bring everyone together and are a fantastic way for everyone to connect and socialize, like the annual Kite Festival, summer Music in the Park, Food Truck Fridays, and holiday-themed get-togethers. Neighbors meet up at the community’s weekly farmers market to catch up, reconnect, and stock up on local fruits and veggies. Follow along with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to receive updates on upcoming events!
We care deeply for one another and are passionate about charity and giving back to our community. Neighbors look out for one another and are always available to extend a helping hand. In addition to promoting and supporting the cultural heritage of Telugu-speaking people, the Mountain House Tracy Telugu Association raises funds to aid natural disasters in India and the United States. The Mountain House Rotary Club raises funds for charity projects both locally and globally, and their annual Thanksgiving Turkey Brigade provides a hot meal to many local food-insecure families.
Homes for All
Say bye-bye to cookie cutter homes! We carefully select homebuilders that design homes for people representing EVERY stage of life and families of ALL shapes and sizes. Whether you’re a recent college grad buying your first home, a growing family, need extra space for live-in relatives (Ashford, Prescott, and Wellington offer private guest suites with full kitchenettes and family rooms!), or downsizing after the kids leave for college, Mountain House has homes to fit the way YOU want to live.
