November is National Peanut Butter Month

Just when you thought November couldn’t possibly get any better with turkey, all the trimmings, and pie, someone had to go and declare it National Peanut Butter Month. Give your classic PB&J the month off, because we’re kicking it up a few culinary notches with this roundup of some great recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert! Have peanut allergies in the house? Many of these recipes can be used with other nut butters so you don’t miss out on any of the tasty goodness.

Homemade peanut butter

But first, the basics. Everyone should have a homemade peanut butter recipe in their arsenal. It’s not as simple as blending a few peanuts, but just about. Plus, you’re in control of how much salt is added, and feel free to add in other things for a flavor all your own, like honey, Nutella, or pumpkin spice! Method HERE.
